On April 1 at 10:00 AM, the premiere of the documentary film about Bay Riban, created by the team of “Svoboden Glas,” will take place.

At an extraordinary press conference held at the Bulgarian News Agency’s regional office in Pazardzhik, leading figures of the political party Velichie delivered a stark assessment of Bulgaria’s electoral climate, framing the deployment of a full-scale international observation mission by the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as an unmistakable sign of systemic democratic distress.

Today, absurd suggestions and ironic insinuations are being made that almost everyone who was in any way connected to Velichie is either a traitor or must publicly “distance themselves” to instil an image of decay and failure. Thus, political debate is being replaced with a gossipy chronicle, and opponents demonstrate not strength, but a lack of arguments.

During an on-site inspection, allegations were presented to Svoboden Glas about the existence of an organised criminal group of individuals who, according to testimonies from residents, act in concert.
