After many Bulgarian media outlets falsely reported Historical Park’s closure following its 7th anniversary, the park’s team has issued an official statement clarifying the situation.

Today, absurd suggestions and ironic insinuations are being made that almost everyone who was in any way connected to Velichie is either a traitor or must publicly “distance themselves” to instil an image of decay and failure. During an on-site inspection, allegations were presented to Svoboden Glas about the existence of an organised criminal group of individuals who, according to testimonies from residents, act in concert.
