The Chairwoman of the political party “Velichie,” Mrs. Albena Pekova, addressed the U.S. Secretary of State, Mr. Marco Rubio, regarding the evaluation of the 2024 Country Report on the Republic of Bulgaria. In this report, “Velichie” is presented in a contradictory and rather enigmatic way, in which its leader, Mr. Ivelin Mihaylov, is depicted as practically a problem for Bulgarian democracy.

Another slanderous campaign against the Historical Park and “Velichie” has been launched through the familiar “journalist” from the Capital newspaper, Yoan Zapryanov. Known for years for writings full of lies, he once again joins in with an email to the personal mailbox of Ivelin Mihaylov with questions, preparing a new manipulative attack.

The Bulgarian National Bank has officially admitted that it is powerless to stop individuals sanctioned under the “Magnitsky Act” from operating within the country’s banking system. In response to a parliamentary question from Assen Vassilev of “We Continue the Change,” the Central Bank justified its position by citing the lack of explicit legal regulation.
