DPS-NN(Movement for Rights and Freedom - New Beginning) shields the destruction of fertile Bulgarian land and the pollution of groundwater, an investigation by “Svoboden Glas” reveals.

A dairy processing plant near the village of Brestovene in the Razgrad region has been poisoning the land and water on which hundreds of families depend for their livelihood for years. Dozens of complaints have been filed by locals, and about ten state institutions have “responded,” yet eight years later, the case against the plant is still unresolved.

Member of Parliament Ivelin Mihaylov commented in a video that this is a direct consequence of a flawed economic model, in which incompetent individuals are entrusted with businesses and run them ineffectively at the expense of the state and without regard for social or environmental issues.

He also pointed to the other side of the system: when a business is inconvenient for Borissov and Peevski, it is slandered, its assets are frozen in advance, and its owners are crushed, repressed, and threatened. At the same time, the companies within the ruling circles remain untouchable.

This clearly proves that the plant in question is not among the “inconvenient” ones, and therefore remains protected by the political umbrella of DPS-NN.
