The shareholders of "Historical Park" continue the fight for their rights

The complaint alleges that the temporary parliamentary committee, established in July 2024, restricted the right of shareholders to participate in the discussions and present their point of view.

At the end of September 2025, a group of shareholders of the “Historical Park” Joint Stock Company filed a collective complaint with the Commission for Protection against Discrimination. In it, they stated that the National Assembly had discriminated against them through the actions of a temporary parliamentary committee, which had not granted them the right to a voice and had allowed statements that were damaging to their dignity and the good name of the complex. According to the complainants, such behaviour by the state institution had led to the creation of a hostile environment and to damage to the public image of the project. As a result, the shareholders suffered image and property damage, as well as lost profits. In the collective complaint filed with the Commission for Protection against Discrimination, they expressed their serious concerns about direct and indirect discrimination by the National Assembly, as well as about the violation of fundamental constitutional rights – the right to opinion, the right to defence and the right to equality.

The complaint alleges that the temporary parliamentary committee, established in July 2024, restricted the right of shareholders to participate in the discussions and present their point of view. Instead, the floor was given to selected individuals with a negative attitude towards the company. According to the complainants, this led to a distortion of the facts and to public stigmatisation of the Historical Park and its investors.

No less worrying, according to them, is the fact that qualifications such as "pyramid", "sect" and "scheme" have been disseminated both from the parliamentary rostrum and in national and foreign reports. In this way, the shareholders claim, not only is the reputation of the complex is damaged, but also the personal dignity of the hundreds of citizens who have invested funds and trust in the project.
With the establishment of the “Guardians of the Bulgarian Spirit” Foundation in 2024, the shareholders clearly stated their intention to fight for their rights through legal means. The complaint to the CPD is another initiative that aims to show that behind the “Historical Park” stands a community of people ready to protect their investment, their ideas and the right to preserve and promote Bulgarian culture and history.
