Ivelin Mihaylov proved that the government of Bulgaria is illegitimate

“When we remove these eight MPs from the vote for Prime Minister and government, it turns out there is no required majority."

Eight MPs, who were declared to have been illegally elected by the Constitutional Court, took part in the election of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers. This was announced to reporters by Ivellin Mihaylov, chairman of the parliamentary group of the political party "Velichie."

He also named the MPs in question – Aleksandar Nenkov, Aleksandar Markov, Andrey Valchev, Emil Trifonov, Eshref Eshref, Ivan Kyuchukov, Pavlin Yotov, and Temenuzhka Petkova.

“When we remove these eight MPs from the vote for Prime Minister and government, it turns out there is no required majority,” Mihaylov stated firmly, adding that in his view, the decisions of January 16 are illegitimate.

“We will begin talks with other parties to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court and annul the decisions of the Council of Ministers as unlawful,” the MP added, further stating that GERB has two crutches – DB, which tries to maintain pro-European rhetoric, and “Vazrazhdane,” with its pro-Russian stance.
