The chairman of the parliamentary group of the “Velichie” party in the 51st National Assembly – Ivelin Mihaylov – presented the Historical Park site, which had been referred to as a “dump” by representatives of the “Vazrazhdane” party during speeches in the plenary hall. As he stated, the site is neither abandoned nor neglected but is a construction site, organised following legal requirements and with materials neatly arranged by type.

Mihaylov stated that once the complex is completed, including the church within it, the site will acquire an impressive appearance inspired by the architecture of the Second Bulgarian Empire. He added that he hopes, if it is God's will, they will manage to finish it. In his remarks, he accused the MPs from “Vazrazhdane” of spreading lies about the project.

“I pray that people remember me not as MP Ivelin Mihaylov, but as the villager, the builder Ivelin Mihaylov,” added the leader of “Velichie.”
