In recent months, the issue of "child gangs" in shopping malls has emerged as a concerning trend. This phenomenon not only threatens the safety of public spaces but also highlights significant deficiencies in Bulgaria's social, institutional, and anti-corruption systems.

The National Assembly rejected the proposal of the political party "Majesty" to form a temporary commission to investigate the problems of violence against children. 79 of the MPs supported the formation of the commission, 38 were against, and 89 abstained.
