On September 27th, a threatening letter was sent to the official email addresses of the Velichie political party by an individual named Radoslav Barosov.
According to incriminating materials circulating online, Barosov is a former police officer who was dismissed from the force after slashing the tyres of his girlfriend, Ana Zdravkova. There is an audio recording in which he admits to involvement in corrupt practices within the traffic police department (KAT) in Kazanlak, including extorting citizens with fabricated speeding tickets, engaging in domestic violence, and creating online groups for cyberbullying.
Despite this disturbing background, he currently works as a taxi driver, transporting passengers, once again, with apparent impunity.
Multiple reports have been filed against him for making threats against various individuals, but no legal consequences have followed. Barosov himself claims he is “protected,” raising serious questions about his potential ties to certain political circles surrounding Delyan Peevski and Boyko Borissov.
At the same time, the firearms of Ivelin Mihaylov, which were unlawfully confiscated, still have not been returned, despite a court ruling in his favour. The police department in Provadia, specifically officer Gabrovski, refuses to enforce this ruling, effectively becoming complicit in a potential future crime.
This is the way tragedies happen and "inconvenient" individuals become victims. When law enforcement, current or former, serves the interests of the mafia rather than protecting citizens, the state becomes a dangerous place for anyone who stands up for justice.
