The Velichie party is preparing to submit a vote of no confidence against the government. The reason is the Wall Street Journal's publication, which claims that GERB Chairman Boyko Borisov discussed the sale of a stake in "TurkStream" and easing sanctions under the "Magnitsky Act" with Donald Trump Jr.
Velichie demands "immediate political action and parliamentary debate" and "will seek support and dialogue with parliamentary groups in the form of MECH, Vazrazhdane, APS, and PP to introduce a vote of no confidence quickly and, in the shortest possible time, remove Borisov and Peevski from state governance."
"If they have any honour and dignity, they will immediately leave this government, although we know they don't. We cannot tolerate national treason! We can no longer tolerate this criminal regime. We are initiating a vote of no confidence to remove this government," stated Velichie today.
The party also insists on "convening a commission to gather and provide the necessary information for the vote of no confidence."
